Drake sets stage for VDAY Carnegie Hall gala
Hudson Valley News Network recently ran a piece about our work designing V20 at Carnegie Hall for Eve Ensler and VDAY, as well as our window designs for ABC Carpet & Home:
As part of the 20th anniversary of VDAY and Eve Ensler’s play The Vagina Monologues, Millbrook firm Drake Creative has designed both the celebration at Carnegie Hall and a window display at ABC Carpet & Home in New York City, which remains on view through the month of March.
“Collaborating with people who have vision, beauty, spirit, and strength inspires me,” says Drake’s artistic director Alex Tuller, who worked closely with VDAY executive director Susan Celia Swan on the theme for both settings. Tuller also collaborated with Carnegie’s director of event services Sarah Zeltzer and ABC’s senior director Manena Frazier, as well as producer Cassandra Del Viscio, owner of Edgeworx Studios, which has offices in Kingston.
