FDR and Drake Creative at the Soho Film Festival
Jeff Urbin, FDR Presidential Library’s education specialist, Dean Temple and Alex Tuller attended the Soho International Film Festival this weekend where our animated documentary Everyone Has the Right showed on the two-story tall movie screen as part of the Shorts Program D: SPRING STREET SERIES at the historic Village East Theater in New York City. Other films included: The Wrong Guy; The Big Pitch, Angels Fall; Written for Walken; Lin; see more here. This was the film’s theatrical premiere.
A highlight of the day included Jeff quoting Eleanor Roosevelt to a noticeably moved room during the Q&A: “Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home—so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world….”
